Paul Chen Hanwei Practical Katana Swords
are 39 ½” overall. The 27 ¼” sharpened high carbon steel blade is
differentially hardened and forged creating a HRC60 edge and HRC40 back.
These swords have an authentic and prominent temper line. The fittings are
sturdily built to withstand rigorous cutting activities. The simulated
rayskin handle is 11 ¼” with a black cord wrap. The tsuba is black coated
metal. The weight is 2lb 5 oz. The point of balance is 5 ¾”. The guard has a
thickness of 0.27” with a width of 1.22”. The tip of the Practical Katana
has a thickness of 0.18” and width of 0.87”. The Sori is ¾”. The Practical
Katana includes cloth storage sleeve and a wooden scabbard with a black
lacquer finish. These are the official Paul Chen Hanwei Practical Katana

Paul Chen Hanwei Practical Shinobi Ninja-To
Swords are 34.5 inches overall. These ninja swords have a hand-forged
sharpened 22.75 inch differentially hardened (using a traditional claying
method) high carbon steel blade closely matching the Practical Katana Sword.
Antiqued black iron fittings. These swords feature a synthetic rayskin
handle with black cord wrap and a black coated metal tsuba displaying the
kuji-kiri. Wooden scabbard with a black lacquer finish. Weight: 1 lb 14 oz.
Point of balance: 4 1/2. Guard thickness: 0.27” and width: 1.13”. Practical
Shinobi Ninja-To Swords have a tip thickness of 0.22”, tip width of 0.85”.

Practical Plus Katana Swords

Paul Chen Practical Plus Katana Sword is 40 1/2" overall. It has a sharpened 27"
hand forged and differentially tempered high-carbon double pegged long
tang steel blade with a HRC60 edge and a HRC40 back. The hamon is
prominent on this particular blade. Black coated metal Tsuba is of an iron
"sunburst" design with a brass habaki. The Practical Plus features a 13
1/2" handle with genuine Same (Rayskin) on the Tsuka, with a wrap (Tsuka-Ito)
specially developed for its gripping qualities. Wooden scabbard with a
black lacquer finish. This is a beautiful and fully functional piece.

Paul Chen Musashi Miyamoto Daito Sword is 45" overall.
It has a 30 1/4" blade. The Musashi blade is hand-forged in
high-carbon steel and is edge-tempered using the traditional clay
tempering method, resulting in a distinct hamon. Edge hardness is 60HRC,
back hardness is 40HRC. The 14 3/4" handle grip is double-pegged to the
tang for safety. Genuine rayskin handle with black leather wrap. Black double
ring iron tsubas. Wooden scabbard with black lacquer finish. Comes with
cleaning kit and storage sleeve. This sword is fully functional and built
for cutting.
