Viking Swords:
Whether
sacking churches along the coast of Ireland, demanding Danegeld from English
kings, solving arguments in a Holmgang (ritual form of dueling), or
performing a wedding the Vikings put their swords to great use. Inspired by
the great Scandinavian raiders, our Viking sword is a no nonsense 30 inch
broad bladed cutting tool. The heavy Brazil nut styled pommel and straight
cross guard balance out the fullered blade allowing one to utilize a shield in
the off hand.
A leather scabbard is included with this sword.

Tinker Pearce Norman Swords Blunt
CAS Hanwei Tinker Pearce Norman Swords Blunt

Price: $199.99

PC2427
The Tinker Series Norman swords have an overall length of
36 5/16", a blade length of 30 11/16" and a handle length of 5". Sword
weighs in at about 2lb 8oz. Norman Swords, with their distinctive
cruciform guards and brazil-nut pommels, are similar in weight and
static balance and offer virtually identical handling characteristics.
Both are harmonically balanced to optimize cutting ability in the case
of the sharp version and to provide authentic handling characteristics
for the re-enactor. The blades are forged in 5160 high carbon steel and
marquenched to HRC50-52, allowing superior edge retention on the sharp
and anti-burr safety on the blunt. Grips are wood-cored and
leather-covered over a cord wrap. Made by Hanwei.
